I have for love fallen first

Reluctant in letting go for I know I am best for you, they'd love to be next to you, I want whats best for you, include myself as what's best for this. I kind of know what's best for you. Hard to figure all this out by myself, alone I long for you, you send... Continue Reading →

Moral encompassing

Find meaning in searching, search for purpose or find purpose in searching, preach lessons beyond hypothesis, lessons learned, experienced. Thoughts are just thoughts in context to knowledge, they might be dreams after all, dreams slept on, or pictures that come up as flashbacks, setbacks, looking back. Note to self. Chilled is my vibe, subscribed is... Continue Reading →

Synchronizing plans with actions, I hope it leads to satisfaction, action don’t CUT, directing my life on the roll like a pair of dice. If you'll be nice you may grab a chair, let's leave the table, I hate how tables turn. Time that I spend, efforts I give, rounds that I hit without a... Continue Reading →

We All Need Love

Pretoria Poetry Club

The moment we hear the word “love”, our minds automatically think of falling ‘in love’. But… Do we ever think of love- you know… Just love?

The love of a family, a friend, the love of that guy’s name you always seem to forget but is always there to listen to your problems. Do we ever consider that kind of love? I leave that for you to decide.

I want you to think of that one person whom you love and try and find a reason for loving that person. There may be a million different reasons from a million different people, but one reason is certain… We all love the one’s we love just because… Just because we all need love.

I love you all.

Perfectly Clean

Umflop!

If only the river water
washed off the veils
we use to cloak ourselves
even though
the human stains
we attempt to hide
with immaculate cotton
wick to the weave
like pious blood
blossoming into the world
thus shouting
I am a Sinner
when the only sin
is covering up
to hide the shame,
fruitlessly believing
your innermost thoughts
might escape
the notice of the divine.
